Based in Shreveport, Louisiana with an additional office in Dallas, Texas, our reach extends far beyond the Bayou State and Lone Star State. As a premiere general contracting firm specializing in multifamily residential communities, senior living, student housing, and commercial projects—both new construction and renovation—we have built more than 18,500 multi-family units and nearly $1.1 billion in cumulative construction revenues. And signature commercial projects such as the Bossier Parish Community College Campus, the Sci-Port Discovery Center, and I-Max Theater are just a few of the projects that reflect our versatility and breadth of expertise.

  1. Pre-Construction

    The success of any project depends on well planned pre-construction services. Shreve Land’s estimating and project management staff provide architectural and engineering plan reviews, cost estimates, schedule analysis, and value engineering during the design phase of the project.

  2. General Contracting

    Shreve Land has done most of its business over the years as a prime general contractor. We can competitively bid or negotiate your project. Combined with our pre-construction services, this affords the client the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost. During the construction phase, our site supervision is responsible for all aspects of the project. Weekly meetings are held to keep everyone up to date on the project status and we also monitor quality and safety.

  3. Project Management

    Shreve Land takes a dual approach to project management. The project manager makes personal visits to the job to oversee progress and address field conditions. Simultaneously, the manager administers the owner contract and subcontracts using an online Project Management (PM) System. The PM system provides up-to-date information to the project team, including the owner, architect, and engineers. Shreve Land’s approach to project management enforces the concept of teamwork by allowing all parties to stay current with all job activities.

  4. Design Build

    Shreve Land has partnered with design firms to provide the owner an alternative approach to the traditional design-bid-build delivery system. This experience exemplifies our ability to successfully participate on a design build team. The estimating staff works closely with the owner, architect, and engineer in preparing a construction budget and schedule based on preliminary drawings and historic pricing information. Each building trade line item is reviewed to assure cost savings in the beginning design phase of the project.
